The thinking skills structure called ‘Responsibility pies’ is useful for analysing any complex phenomenon where responsibility can be attributed to multiple parties. Who is responsible for the whales that die in the ocean? For the deaths in a genocide? There might often be six different answers to the question and the interpretation of the different factors is a demanding task.
