Professor Robin Veldman is an interdisciplinary environmental studies scholar. Her research examines how religious beliefs and cultural identity shape attitudes toward nature. With methodologies from religious studies she uses the tools of the humanities and social sciences to interpret human–environmental interactions. She is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Texas A&M University, and an Associate Editor for the Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture. REtoday asked her for some perspective on current green crises and religion.
