On reflection

Can teachers make use of research to improve teaching? Practical experiments in the RE classroom

We hear a lot nowadays about the importance of teaching being based on accessible research; indeed this is precisely what Professional REflection aims to do. Many readers may remember that in Autumn 2017 we published an ‘On Reflection’ piece from James Robson on the Culham St Gabriel’s Research Strategy. Here, Kevin O’Grady, Lead Consultant for Research at Culham, describes a successful project with colleagues from the University of Warwick and a South Yorkshire school. At the end of the article Kevin invites teachers to get in touch. It would be great to be able to publish further exciting projects in Professional REflection.
