Do you learn wisdom at school?

RE Today sent Chris Boxley, a member of our Editorial Team, to talk to pupils at Brockwood Park School. The place is deeply inspired by Hindu sage Krishnamurti’s teachings, which encourage academic excellence, self-understanding, creativity and integrity in a safe, non-competitive environment. He taught that religion often makes the mistake of giving a road to travel, but ‘truth is a pathless land’. Chris ran discussions with three 17-year-old students, who then wrote about wisdom from their own points of view. Could you run a similar activity?
