This is my final column as Chair of the National Association of Teachers of RE (NATRE) Executive. It has been a genuine privilege and an honour to lead the group of committed RE professionals that forms the Executive over the last three years. During these years I have been staggered by the number of voluntary hours that these already busy teachers give to support the teaching of RE across all stages of schooling.
