Extending the theme of reflective professional dialogue, we introduce the practice of ‘collective writing’ to the pages of Professional REflection. This is an established practice used in the philosophy of education that enables several voices to be heard in a piece of writing, rather than one dominant authorial voice. This approach thus mirrors the values that were central to the symposium. Six teachers – Kate Bruning, Sarah Dennis, Liz Halfpenny, Aleicia Mehta, Matt Pitcher and Emma Raven – reflect on their experiences. Their thoughts are skilfully curated by RE Today Adviser Stephen Pett, who was also closely involved in the event in Birmingham in 2021.
