New beginnings, human destiny and what happens in between

Fr Peter Walters has lived in Columbia since 1994, where he works directly caring for and empowering Columbia’s los desechables; its ‘disposable’ street children. His charity, Let the Children Live, offers safety, food, healthcare, education and a warm and loving family to children who are the victims of grinding poverty, violence, rape, exploitation and chronic neglect. In this interview he discusses how the charity began, his calling to the Catholic priesthood and his vision of human destiny.
