On reflection

On reflection: this too is for the good

It is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome Anne Krisman back to these pages. It is a pleasure in its own right, but even more so as Anne knew well our previous much- loved editor and contributor to ‘On reflection’, Bill Gent (see her beautiful obituary in REtoday, 38 (1), 88–89). Longstanding readers will remember her wonderfully amusing ‘Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells’ columns. Here she shares some moments from her life during lockdown. Although set within the context of the life of a Jewish woman, here Anne achieves that rare feat of universalising human experience and emotions. And, by the way, the stuff about Davina is true!
