Research update

This research update is particularly useful for secondary school teachers as it focuses on resources for the A level. The first article discusses how the apophatic and cataphatic ways of approaching God are entwined in many thinkers and how both are necessary lenses to explore many of the concepts and ideas we explore in the A level (especially the apophatic way, which is often overlooked). The example given of how this relates to the teaching of the problem of evil helps illuminate this argument. The second piece discusses the importance of religious literacy, especially when dealing with end-of-life care (although the arguments could also be extended to most areas covered in applied ethics).
