Reviews

Both of the reviewers in this issue have urged us, as professionals involved in RE, to make time for our own reading, going beyond texts we are obliged to read to explore those that provoke us to think more widely and deeply about the religions we teach, and nurture us personally and spiritually. Lat Blaylock discusses a book that will add to our understanding of Islam in Britain as a modern, living faith in all its diversity, while Geoff Teece shares some of the insights he has gained from Richard Holloway’s latest book, a profound meditation on the inevitability of death. Have you read something recently that has inspired or challenged you? If so, why not write a review for Professional REflection? We will be pleased to hear from you.
