Most of us who have been professionally involved in RE must realise, I think, that constant reference to the ways and wisdom of the various religious traditions does rub off on us. So, when I decided to relinquish the editorship of the NATRE journal, it was with an earthy perception that nothing is permanent. I am thankful to my brushes with Buddhism for this realisation.
