It’s Friday afternoon. Outside it’s cold, with an occasional lightly falling drop of rain hinting at imminent snowy weather, just in time for the weekend. Excited children, full of anticipation for tobogganing and making snowmen, look eagerly out of the window instead of at me as I begin a poorly timed lesson on creation stories, tagged on to the end of a far too busy week. I begin, as I so often do, by raising my voice slightly and telling a story.
